Legal Information

Legal Information & Compliance

At South Australian E-Waste Services, we are committed to operating in accordance with applicable South Australian and Australian laws, regulations and environmental guidelines relating to electronic waste management, workplace safety, privacy and responsible recycling practices.

Our services are designed to support environmentally responsible handling, transport, refurbishment, recycling and disposal of electronic equipment. While we take reasonable care in the collection and processing of assets, clients are responsible for ensuring all equipment presented for collection is authorised for disposal or transfer.

For data-containing devices, clients are encouraged to advise of any specific security or compliance requirements prior to collection. Data destruction services and certification options are available upon request. Equipment intended for reuse, refurbishment or recycling may undergo assessment to determine suitable processing pathways.

Where required, collection documentation, inventory reporting and certificates of data destruction may be provided to assist businesses with internal compliance and record keeping requirements.

  • Collection times and service availability may vary depending on location, site access and operational requirements.
  • Data destruction services must be requested prior to processing where certification or specific destruction requirements are required.

  • Non-recyclable or hazardous items outside agreed service scope may incur additional charges or refusal of collection.
